You can't beat the gorgeous Fall color that Mother Nature provides. Though, here in the Northwest, it is not as striking as the East coast, but still very pretty nonetheless. I had taken the chihuahua out for a nice 1 hour walk before dinner to enjoy the warmer day. The color is at its prime in our area and soon it will be cold and stormy. I was walking from my house in Spokane Valley, to a park called Mirabeau Point and about 1.2 miles from where I live.
This blog is about everything nature, such as things to do out in nature (biking & walking trails), photo ops and adventures, camping, natural remedies, natural products, and much more.

Mount Spokane which is only about 20 minutes outside of Spokane, WA, is one of the primary winter destinations in our area. It is close to town, and just far enough to feel like you are away from it all. The mountain is over 5800 feet and a popular ski and nordic destination in Eastern Washington.
When I had taken these pictures, it was in the spring time and the weather was just beautiful with the clouds out in the background. On a fairly clear day, you can see the Canadian Rockies to the North and some of the beautiful lakes of Idaho, to the East.
